The Difference Between Pool-TW And Pool-N

2025-03-07

Specifications And Weight Range

1.Pool-TW:

The weight range is usually from 105 kg to 30,000 kg (such as the CJT-20 model), with some products such as the CJT-20TW nominal weight up to 39,400 kg.

2.Pool-N:

The weight range is small, generally 40 kg to 20,000 kg.

3. Difference: The Pool-TW covers a wider weight segment and is especially suitable for large ships or scenarios requiring greater grip.

Design And Structural Features

1. Anchor claw and adaptability:

Both are studless large-gripping anchors with smooth and sharp design and strong adaptability to mud, sand and other substrates. However, the TW type may further improve the holding stability by optimizing the structure of anchor crown plate or anchor tooth plate.

2. Grab weight ratio:

The holding weight ratio of the boat anchor is generally about 6 (that is, when the anchor weighs 1 ton, it can produce about 6 tons of holding force), which is a feature shared by both.

Application Scenario

1.Pool-TW:

It is often used in engineering vessels (such as dredgers) and large cargo ships, because of its large grip characteristics suitable for complex working environments.

2. Pool-N:

It is more suitable for small and medium-sized ships or conventional anchoring needs, with a smaller weight range and higher operational flexibility.
