Andy Marine offers Dee Shackle G2150 in various sizes. Dee Shackle G2150 can be used in applications where round pin or screw pin shackles are used. However, a dee shackle G2150 is a better choice in permanent or long-term applications, or if there's a risk of a load sliding on the shackle pin, causing it to rotate. If you require Dee Shackle G2150, please contact us.
The Dee Shackle G2150 is a robust, bolt-type shackle primarily used for long-term or permanent lifting and rigging applications that involve straight-line loading. Its design, which uses a bolt, nut, and cotter pin, prevents the pin from accidentally rotating or coming loose, making it safer than a screw-pin shackle for permanent use or in high-vibration environments.

Lifting and Hoisting: It serves as a vital, secure connection point for connecting cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment to heavy loads in construction sites, factories, and warehouses.
Marine and Offshore: In saltwater environments, its corrosion-resistant properties (typically hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel) make it suitable for applications such as anchoring, mooring, and connecting various rigging components on ships and offshore platforms.
Mining and Quarrying: Employed for hauling and lifting heavy materials and large machinery parts in demanding conditions.
Construction and Engineering: Used to connect lifting equipment to structural components like steel beams during installation or maintenance of facilities, including power engineering infrastructure.
Tension Systems: Ideal for tension test rigs and tension stay terminations due to its secure design which handles static loads reliably.
